Rufous is an Arizona bird-finding field companion built from the Databox reference warehouse. It turns licensed GBIF observations and public place data into an explainable, user-timed outing and a downloadable calendar file—without an application server or server-side visitor storage.

Databox is a single-operator cross-domain data platform. It brings public bird-observation, weather, and streamflow data into one queryable warehouse, then makes the ingestion, transformations, quality checks, orchestration, and documentation inspectable as one system.

Buoy Search

Buoy Search turns a public website, GitHub repository, or local document into a reviewed, incremental search index. Its workflow keeps retrieval anchored to the source: changes are planned and reviewed before apply, and results return citable source chunks.
